Why seek out a Christian Counselor?

Trained Christian Counselors offer a full spectrum or “whole life” perspective when assisting you in better managing your issues. Counseling helps you look back at your life and the decisions you have made to better understand where you currently are, in order to change the direction you go in the future. Luke 2:52 gives us a Biblical model to approach counseling with a balanced outlook: “Jesus increased in wisdom (mentally), stature (physically), and in favor with God (spiritually) and man (socially/emotionally).” When we omit any of the four, we are out of balance and can become confused as to dealing with everyday life.

Are my counseling sessions and the information I share private?

YES! Everything you divulge in the counseling setting is kept confidential as regulated by the state statutes of Florida. With the exception of abuse, crimes, or harm to yourself and others, (see intake forms) we maintain your confidentiality and promise to provide a safe place to deal with your concerns and issues. All of these matters can and should be discussed with Dr. Denny Williams at your first session so that you are comfortable with our counseling approach.

How much does counseling cost at Life Management?

Our competent counseling service is rated on a sliding scale based on your annual family income.

Your first visit is a standard intake fee of $100.00 that includes evaluation, a self-assessment instrument and “manage your life” instructions for greater effectiveness during your counseling experience. Fee contributions begin at $60.00 and graduate up as to your ability to invest in yourself. Our rates are much less than the average going rates of $90.00 to $175.00 per session. After your first visit and with approval, some individuals qualify for even further reduced rates based upon their legitimate need.

How long are the counseling sessions?

Face-2-Face Sessions are 50 minutes in length and Phone-2-Phone Sessions are 25 minutes. Being conscious of this time frame is important so that others receive their fully allotted time during their appointment.

What approach is taken at Life Management?

Our overall approach is to guide you in making the right decisions by asking questions, listening, providing homework, sharing insight, and praying with you. Most of us simply need to have someone listen and help us sort out the issues so we can glean a new perspective on our situation. With the help of God’s Spirit and the truth of His Word, we can reveal options and offer advice for you to act on.

Does Phone-2-Phone counseling work?

Absolutely! Phone-2-Phone counseling can be as effective as Face-2-Face counseling. After you have faxed or e-mailed your intake forms, we are able to offer a fast, flexible and confidential means of meeting you need for Godly counsel. Getting into the office for Face-2-Face counseling is not always practical for people in our fast-paced, complex society. Calling from home, office, hotel, or wherever you feel the most comfortable is a plus. This service is even more confidential because only you and your counselor know that you have utilized our counseling services. Plus, you can counsel with Dr. Denny even when he is not available in your part of the country. Privacy and convenience of the phone counseling are great advantages for many people.

What is Internet Counseling/Coaching?

One of the most convenient and effective ways to interact in counseling and/or life coaching is via email. With time to put your thoughts down adn email them, you gain in processing your situation. Through our professional interaction you will receive insightful, proactive responses that will guide you in personal growth.

How do I get started?

Call our office to schedule an appointment: 954.463.5683. Then download the counseling intake forms or ask the receptionist to fax the forms to you in advance of your scheduled appointment time. This process will help us save time at your appointment and allow Dr. Denny to get better acquainted with your situation in advance.
